Welcome Message
Welcome to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. Our faculty was established in 1990. It has five academic departments at the undergraduate level: English Language and Literature, English Language and Translation, Clinical Psychology, Basic Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences. The faculty offers two postgraduate programs: a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature. The postgraduate program, based in the Department of English Language and Literature, allows our students to specialize in one of the following disciplines: Literature, Translation, or Linguistics. After completing the elective and compulsory courses, students can choose either the comprehensive examination track or the thesis track. The faculty is committed to maintaining and enhancing the momentum it has built over the past three decades while striving for progress in the fields of knowledge it already hosts. We continuously develop our study plans and academic programs to align with the emerging requirements of the local, regional, and global labor markets. Additionally, we ensure that our students are equipped with both theoretical knowledge and praxis in the relevant fields. Our faculty members are distinguished by their research output and their embrace of state-of-the-art teaching and learning methods.
