Welcome to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. At the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, we believe that university education should go beyond academic knowledge. It should prepare students to become confident, capable, and adaptable professionals ready to meet the demands of a changing job market. Our academic programs therefore combine strong disciplinary foundations with practical skills, contemporary knowledge, and opportunities for personal and professional development. The Faculty is supported by a distinguished team of professors and instructors who hold academic qualifications from reputable universities bringing diverse academic, research, and professional expertise to the learning environment. We are committed to student-centered education, continuous development, and the integration of current knowledge and technologies into teaching and learning. The Faculty offers BA and MA programs in English through the Department of English, as well as two distinctive double-major programs through the Department of Languages: Chinese and English and German and English. The BA and MA programs in English have received ASIC outstanding accreditation, reflecting the Department’s commitment to academic quality and continuous improvement. Internationalization is another important dimension of our students’ educational experience. Students in the Department of English can benefit from exchange opportunities and academic cooperation with universities abroad. These opportunities enable students to broaden their academic and cultural perspectives and develop skills that are valuable in an increasingly globalized workplace.
